When it comes to coconuts they are one of the few foods that have been given “superfood” status. The unique combination of fatty acids can have profound positive effects on health. This includes fat loss, better brain function and various other amazing benefits.

Of course this isn’t anything new…but when the celebrities jump on board it doesn’t matter how old the knowledge is – if it’s hot, it’s hot. Now the stars are sipping away at their coconut water on the red carpet, their fitness gurus are swearing by the powers of it’s oil and as a result it’s become the it-food of the year.
